Your outside facilitator has no bias nor any vested interest, other than your complete success and satisfaction in the process and in the eventual results.
Excellent facilitation is not a ‘one-off’; it is a fully researched, planned, and executed event. Your facilitator uncovers the group’s needs, helps you define what success will look like, uncovers underlying issues that might negate or limit your success, and provides a framework to move you to your stated objectives. This is followed up with complete reporting and agreed upon next steps, which may or may not include the facilitator.
